Our Mission is to encourage the ideals of higher education by providing scholarships and other services to the students of Gila Community College, Payson Campus. All donations stay local and go directly to scholarships for Payson Campus students pursuing career-based degrees.

By making a donation to Friends of Rim Country GCC you could receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona state income taxes. The maximum deduction is $841 married, $421 single, or your actual tax liability. Your donation can be made in addition to Credit For Kids. Check with your tax planner for details.

Changing Lives Through Local Payson Scholarships
“The scholarship that I received from the Friends of Rim Country greatly propelled my journey to higher education. Without their financial support I don’t think I would be where I am today. I am currently pursuing my degree in Nursing at Payson Campus and plan on graduating in May 2023. After graduation, I plan to start my medical career at Banner Payson Medical Facility.
Friends of Rim Country provided the financial assistance that I needed for Nursing School including books, tuition, and fees that I couldn’t otherwise afford on my own. Thank you, Friends Board Members and Donors, for your generosity.”
